Australia did the right thing. They saw right through China trying to prey upon the relationships of other nations.
For now, Canada is so naive they think the help is free. Accepting medical equipment it doesn't need, and acting like a mewling baby when The President withheld medical exports to save his people.
If China bounces back faster than everyone else that will be a big clue that they released the pandemic on purpose to slow down everyone's economy.

I think the world resetting it's manufacturing to be more local is a fair compromise.
Trump: No more masks to Canada, we have more sick people we need them more.

There are many grade-A clowns in the Japanese government. They've completely botched the coronavirus response, choosing the path of denial (they're big on that) & testing only a few thousand people a day in a country of 125 million. In total Japan has tested about the same number of people as New Zealand has despite NZ only having a population of 5 million & detecting the first case much later than Japan did. The confirmed cases in Japan are barely even the tip of the iceberg. They can no longer deny it & are now in an even worse pickle. It was obvious this was going to happen weeks ago.
The Osaka governer even declared an end to the problem & called on the whole country to do the same on March 19. [link] 3 weeks later they're issuing state of emergency & Osaka has ordered people to stay at home. [link]
Japan has had a capacity to test 7,500 people per day but has been using less than half of that & massively under-reporting their cases. Abe says they're lifting that capacity to 20,000 (still nowhere near enough).... how many will they actually test per day now?
Ren Zhiqiang is a bit of a clown & has been dubbed the Trump of China. I'd file him under Grade-B. He's outspoken but doesn't have a role in the government & doesn't have the power to put people's lives at risk like some of those idiots running Japan who ignore the advice of Japanese experts.
