Lol yup, This was made back in the boring days when good ALWAYS had to triumph over evil, so they decided to go with an indestructible hero.
I guess it worked then. Not so much now.

More like invincible James Bond meets Thunderbirds with aliens. It's hard to explain. I only watched the first episode so far. It's a neat concept but the story in the pilot suffers from plot leaps. One second the isolated mars team is attacked, the next minute the commander on Earth magically knows everything that went down and what the aliens intentions are.
I have to watch more to see if the writers catch themselves doing this and correct their course for the story.
