Well it is mainly youths that don't stick to social distancing in large gatherings and idiot antimaskers and corona deniers during protests you can thank for extended mask obligation, if you are in Europe.

Know several people who've gotten it and are fine now. What's the percentage of deaths? and percentage of deaths in the countries without mask mandates? When you get your numbers, where did you get them from and who provided them and how did they get to their numbers? Waiting on proof of mask effectiveness. I'm assuming you're under month 3 of lockdown / mask wearing. You going to continue to oblige this mask / lockdown / social distancing indefinately? when are you going to end it?

The "percentage of deaths" does not change depending on wearing a mask or not (it is something between 1 and 2%), the total number does, this is backed up by a study carried out in Germany about 2 months back. Following the mask mandate the number of daily infections reduced significantly. I posted a link before but will not look it up again, sorry.
We are currently not under lockdown, although the situation is getting worse here in spain, mainly due to what I mentioned above. Wearing a mask is respecting your fellow citizens and this needs to be done until a better solution is at the ready. What's the fucking problem with it anyway. Oh, yes, sorry I forgot, it's a global CONSPIRACY!

We know that. of course the virus deniers would like to strike these off the list, but hey, it does not work like this because some of them may have died without the virus others wouldn't. My wife has asthma, there is a good chance she lives to be 80+ unless she contracts (for example) this virus. A deat in a car accident still counts as a car accident even if the dead had terminal cancer.

Uh huh - and by what criteria do they assign cause of death to the typical flu or common cold? Do you know? When someone dies with a flu virus in their system along with 2 or 3 other things - like a gunshot wound perhaps lol - do they list the cause of death as the flu?
If the answer is no, and there's a different set of criteria being applied to assigning cause of death for this "pandemic", then I'm sorry good sir but this has indeed all been one giant fucking opportunistic hoax perpetrated by sociopaths and sheep. The day would have gone differently if he hadn't have skipped breakfast to come into the store for the cinnamon-eggo waffles he likes (ironic). What I don't get is why the message hasn't gone out from say.. a central governing authority in the US, that the mask only protects you at 40% but what it really does is prevent you, if you're already infected (even if you don't know it yet) from passing it on to your neighbor (at close to 75-80%). So it's about respecting other people's safety and since you brought up Christianity, loving thy neighbor. Still, let's not fret too much about why folks are being dicks about wearing masks and protecting their fellow human beings. It's not like we all had the same mother growing up.
