This "raping little boys in front of their mothers" story was debunked years ago. He dumped this allegation right after he made it in 2015. U.S. soldiers committed all kinds of atrocities at Abu Grhaib prison for sure. This one was bullshit but it makes its rounds regularly and is clickbait heaven even now. Pakman got the story from Mint Press News.
“An attorney involved in the case told me in July 2004 that one of the witness statements he had read described the rape of a boy by a foreign contract employee [not a soldier] who served as an interpreter at Abu Ghraib,” Hersh wrote. “In the statement, which had not been made public, the lawyer told me, a prisoner stated that he was a witness to the rape, and that a woman [not arrested mothers] was taking pictures.”'
Bad shit but the "little boys raped in front of their mothers by US. soldiers" was just to blow up the story. Too bad. The story was bad enough.

That CNN link is obviously just the tip of the iceberg & an attempt to whitewash the abuse dished out at Abu Graib by the Americans there. It doesn't have a single charge of rape in the entire list FFS.

I don't know anything about it except that the "raped little boys in front of their mothers" was thoroughly debunked within days of the story over 4 years ago. The crimes of U.S. troops there were heinous without that regardless.
