1920's Style Cartoon

This was not made in the 1920's this is new, should i go over it?

Just went on Youtube and found it all written out.

There's all kinds of animation quirks that prove this was done on a computer.

0:08 Notice the gas coming from the tank is a single, transparent layer of color with an erratic, wavy outline? A genuine 1920's cartoon would have animated the bulbous curvature of the smoke with shading, but this animator is an amateur who doesn't know how to use the blur filter in Flash to make authentic looking smoke & can't be assed to animate it in the traditional frame by frame manner. It's just a flat, transparent color with an erratic frame-flow that doesn't convey the smog is flowing outward from the tank but appears to be going back & forth. This is both telling at the outer edges but also when it splits open down the middle & reconvenes sporadically. Poor smoke & water animation is a signature of an amateur animator using software.

0:24 The radio at the beginning was the first big giveaway, it was animated with the CC Bend It distortion effect in Adobe After Effects. Also notice the limited frames in the mouth movements, indicating a budget cut that was uncharacteristic of the 1920s. If this were a real 1920's clip, the back & forth bend would have shown wrinkles forming in the side of the radio & the mouth would've been smoothly animated with all unique frames for dialog.

0:38 Tumbleweed is rolling down the street like a wheel without any limbs bending or distorting from wind pressure or making contact with the pavement, an obvious motion tween in Flash.

0:45 The animation of the cops hitting the cat are just loops with a chunk of the frames reversed, the biggest tell that frames were reversed to create a loop is that frames repeat at the loop point when the clubs make contact with the cat's head, giving the impression the cat's getting brained twice before they pull back for another swing. This means the animator was not paying attention to their frame arrangement when reusing frames & left repeating frames in at the loop point. Observe that the cat is not at all reacting to getting hit & is just trembling in a loop, in a real cartoon from the 1920s, not only would there be reactions to getting hit on the cat's part, most notably squash & stretch animation, but the cops would have a fully looped animation & not just reversed frames. This is amateur hour to a T.

0:54 Notice that during the parade scene a bunch of the objects in the parade are drafted at different angles, the platforms are drafted at twenty degrees while the coffin was drafted at 30 degrees & the iron lung is drafted at a zero degree angle. That's a tell-tale sign this was done in either Flash or Toon Boom, because these objects were pre-drafted separately & assembled together on the stage. The devil up front of the parade is nearly getting run down by the cow behind it, another tell that this was assembled digitally because the animator didn't account for maximum occupied space in their looping movie clip symbols when setting them on the stage. Very poor form. The dancing characters on the last two platforms are poorly situated on the platforms as their feet are standing on the edge of both sides, the animator clearly wanted both characters to be seen equally so they compromised practical space. These characters are looped with reverse frames yet again. Observe that the wheels on the platforms are visible in the foreground but not the background. A 1920s animator would've known that the wheel on the obscured side would still be visible touching the ground, there's no axle bridging the two wheels either. This animator was lazy & just figured they could hide this by using forced perspective & only animating the wheels on the foreground.

1:36 The word "euthanize" is misspelled. This is a garbage tier hoax. You didn't even try.

I definitely believe you have worked for the CIA and FBI. You've work for institutions that want to make you a  thing of the past.

On top of that irt should have flashed more if it was a genuine projector, and the frames would jump up down left right a bit, not only that but they did not have the real date, 1920's..

You could be right about that. I don't have any animation expertise to argue the points you brought up. I'll change the title in good faith. The information contained within is still relevant.
