Okay, I just got back from 5 months travelling in Europe and I have to say I really hoped the site would have improved in that time. No refinements or cleanups to speak of, some elements are still busted (like voting not updating to show what you voted, top comments section), site looks like ass compared to the old Spiked, I'm sorry but it really does, and from a cursory inspection interaction and commenting is way down most likely because of this. Sure the old guard (groth, fullauto et al) is still kicking around shitposting as usual but for the less dedicated, why would you want to use a site that's gone backwards in most respects since the "update"?
Also where the fuck are the gif galleries? Are we not doing those anymore?
/Rant. I don't like to be critical like this but honestly it's out of love for Spiked. If anyone else gives a fuck or agrees with this please chime in.
