Of course he would and why not? Trump would meet with Adoph Hitler, call his move to meet with him groundbreaking, heroic, world saving, and something he would do and noone else would if it meant getting on TV and getting PR.

Whoa, I was thinking of Trump meeting Assad. I've heard Assad say before meeting with the U.S. would do nothing for him and it's sound thinking unless he himself wanted a Trump/Kim save the world-type media blast. Assad doesn't have the nuclear weapons to make it as big. Assad's point about the sway of lobbyists, corporations, etc over U.S. politics are dead-on obviously.

Oh ok.
I don't think Trump would meet with Assad, it would mean putting USA's interests ahead of Israel's and he's not done that once since he took office. Not even Fox News would support him meeting Assad. Trump said he wanted to get the troops out of Syria but ended up sending more in.
