World Just Jealous Of China

The World is Just JEALOUS of China

Devoid of all sarcasm, this vid just shows why the rest of the world is jealous of China... The guy that made the video has a big target on his back. Risky business.

Have to admit, the free art classes sound like they are the bomb.

Improved wu mao skills. Either you are getting better or a "supervisor" has stepped in. The "Anyone who disparages the glorious state is an enemy of China" approach is a money-maker. All sarcasm he presents in the video is vicious and total fake news..

As an American, bashing China in light of the shitshow we have here is truly ridiculous. I'll never post anything about China again as long as you don't.

no it isn't, not to do so would be committing a logical fallacy. the right thing is to criticize both places, and any other shit show too.

not just this video but tons of other are saying the same things. chinese leaving to live in other countries are also saying the same thing, that it's all just gotten way out of hand in the last 10 years or so, and is showing that it's going to get a lot worse.

to me it looks like xi has just gotten too much power and because he can literally do anything he wants that's exactly what he's doing. it happens to everyone who is given the power of dictator for life.

I've heard gripes about Xi being too strict but overall the Chinese I speak with understand that it's a crucial moment in their history, the trade war has made it quite obvious.

This data shows that more Chinese are returning after studying abroad now than before Xi became president so the bleak outlook you paint about their future seems to be a minority opinion at best. Of course the dissidents & square pegs will always opt to emmigrate so maybe that's swaying the opinions you're hearing? Do you ever interact with Chinese who live there or who like their country on balance?

Oh, look.   More meticulously written, pro-china rhetoric.

I watched something and I'll try to find it. About China's gaokao testing, the kids have a better chance in foreign schools... here.

Xi is just like Mao btw, everyone knows it.

it's a mixed bag of skewed data unfortunately. of course there are more people returning, because more left. the same data could also mean that fewer are going abroad to study.

also you have to figure in that only select people in china are even allowed to get a passport, and also they changed the law not long ago to enable them to punish chinese who stayed away too long. anyone applying for or already holding non-chinese citizenship could be stripped of their chinese citizenship, which also means they would lose all their property and any other holding they had in china. of course this scared a lot of people who then returned.

it's also really hard to get any opinion at all out of chinese recently, even a banal one. can't say i blame them since everything is being monitored and recorder since just last year, and doing the wrong thing sees people unable to buy train tickets or rent apartments, and of course they can't just hold over until the next election either. have you spoken to many chinese really recently? it's been weird, like ask how their flight over was and the answer is "fine thank you. china is working very hard." ...ok... you mean like they're improving the service quality on airlines? "china has many ambitious infrastructure projects."

More left and more returned as a ratio of those who left.

Dual citizenship hasn't been recognized there since 1980.

They're making it easier to get a passport & international travel is booming, your "select few" comment seems far-fetched.

Maybe you should ask about the infrastructure or their opinions on politics.
