If she got anywhere near the nomination she'd get Ron Pauled (ignored & ridiculed by the media).

UNLESS she's got some pitbulls around her to elbow through that shit to capture it. In 2016 Trump was the pitbull - she needs blockers out in front. It all depends, as you imply, on defeating the orthodoxy embedded in the DNC somehow.

The DNC hasn't shown any sign of cleaning up their act. For an outsider like Tulsi to get the nomination seems practically impossible. Maybe if she was a billionaire with 10 million Twitter followers & a bunch of other PR tools at her disposal she could run an honest campaign with a chance of victory.

Here are some Twitter follower stats for perspective on their grass-roots influence:

Tulsi: 100k

Ron Paul: 600k

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: 900k

Bernie: 9m

Hillary: 23m

Trump: 55m

Trump's PR as an outsider is not completely true either. He was a Democrat most of his life & hobnobbed with the elite. He also owes favours to various globalists since the late '80s from all his failed business ventures. The media had a lot of incentives to cover him too. A lot of factors that aren't immediately apparent helped him get elected.

I think her biggest hurdle would be getting the nomination. If the markets dip before 2020 elections & by some miracle she's the nominee I think she kills Trump in an election - all the moderates would vote for her no doubt.

Paul went incredibly far on a relatively small seed that grew into a movement. Same thing was happening with Bernie. Same thing happened with Trump - messaging strategy was important but yes in the end it was in fact the MSM's promotion of Trump during the RNC nomination process that tipped the balance in his favor there, and likely overall. But what was also different with Trump and is even more different now is that "alternative media" emerged and has now become as established as "established media", and it adds a new dimension to the game that can disrupt classic establishment control strategies. It will always be a long shot, but that's what eucatastrophes are for lol.

Social/alternative media tends to revolve around more extremist views but it also feeds a lot off traditional media for source material most of the time. Without the source material there's not much to work with. That's where billionaires & clever PR people come in.

RP & Bernie both have political views that activate people at a grass roots level. Trump just has fans.
