Looks like the shark just wanted to have a nibble at his board to know if it was as yummy as it looked. Had the shark actually attacked him he would have come out with less limbs.

He later responded, saying he whooped the sharks ass, and punched the shark in the face multiple times. Unfortunatly the view was blocked by the wave... He later got back on that and admitted he might have exatirated a bit, and only pushed a finger up the sharks ass. Whooped his ass nonetheless.
