I lived next door to the "Son of Frankenstein' for over a year. He was also the voice & facial model for Bambi! He became a Drill Sgt. in the Marines during the Vietnam War & had 3 Purple Hearts from being shot. Cool ass dude!

He sat and talked to my step daughters for over an hour, when Bambi came out here he and his family got on a ship to GB (during WWII) to screen Bambi for al the War Orphanns. I thought it was an inappropriate Movie for that, but that's how it was. He was 10 I think. He's about 85 now (if he's still alive (haven't seen him in several years) he's pretty Hardy!
Youngest drill sergeant in the Marines. Fucking awesome guy.

He told us about his passage of the ship going to England to screen Bambi to all the war orphans. It was pretty crazy.

But his time working on son of Frankenstein was pretty fucking funny. Boris Karloff taught him how to play checkers and he eventually started beating him and then you owed him a dollar or two. Eventually he started getting better than Karloff & he wouldn't pay. finally the cast and the crew made him give it up and he gave them a few dollars silver dollars. He didn't believe they were real!
