Japan ends 'failed' coronavirus quarantine on cruise ship | DW News

2 weeks go 10 passengers on the Diamond Princess were tested positive for COVID-19 when it docked in Yokohama.

More than 620 have now been confirmed as infected - more than half of all cases outside China - with 2 people having died from the disease.

Residents of Japan who tested negative have been allowed to go home on public transport & self-quarantine.

dmj, you seem to take pleasure in Japan's failings. Is this a part of your CCP propaganda checklist? Just curious. Btw, my uncle and his wife were flown back to the U.S. after having been aboard the Diamond Princess.

Not sure how much is true or embelished news at this point but if true, what a f'ing mess... This borderlines on criminal negligence.  Trapping people in an inadequate facility and not managing it correctly. But besides that, it almost seems like a you can just stay there and die mentality so we can be safe. Yes, from a black and white perspective but let's try to come up with manageable risk solutions.

 

Will be interesting to see the details as more info comes out about this...
