In Germany they were called "Bonanza bike"!
I had exactly the one in the pic below, with independently adjustable left / right handlebars, fake front suspension and "anal intruder" tipped seat.
They were "must have" cool but shitty to ride and they broke easily.

I spent my 12 pound 10 shillings on a second hand F.H. Grubb saved up from my wages as a paper boy! It is still usable and in my garage.
