He can interpret this dick! Journalist are suppose to gather and present facts. That is what Assange did, present facts. Yup, that's the problem - they interpret the info & spoon feed it, with their own special flavour added to shape the narrative.
I don't put it down to elitism, it's a formula & if they didn't play the game they wouldn't have the job. The narrative usually comes more from the producers than the guys in front of the camera but often it's a combined effort.
My interpretation of this is that they're being prickly because Assange challenged the legitemacy of the State Dept & Pentagon. This was before the major CIA release (Vault7). I doubt they'd even interview him since exposing those crooks.
