A Nevada judge halted the use of a drug in the execution of twice-convicted Dozier hours before he was scheduled to die by a first-of-its-kind lethal injection mixture. Clark County District Court Judge Elizabeth Gonzalez ordered the delay Wednesday morning in response to a challenge by New Jersey-based drugmaker Alvogen, which says it doesn't want its product, midazolam, used in "botched" executions.
This just blows my mind. They don't want their product used to sedate a man that will be killed by a completely different narcotic? They are worried that it will be "botched"? A 3-milligram dose of fentanyl is enough to kill an average-sized adult male. Assuming they inject him with 10 or more, there is no "botched" happening. He get's super high and then he dies feeling like a million bucks.
If all these fucking drug companies want to file suit because they're butthurt that their deadly drugs are being used to carry out justice I say that's fine. Mil-surp .308 NATO is going for around $0.60 per round. Ten round comes to $6.00 worth of ammo. Just do like they did in 1945. Fuck all this legal stonewalling.

Make it interesting. Kim Jong Un-style using anti-aircraft guns was kinda cool. Pay per view JDAM executions with the proceeds going to victim's families maybe. Running Man-style death programming. Macabre? Sure, but why not add excitement to a bad ending?
