I wonder how much money they pocketed from it.
The scam was in the name the whole time. They hype you up, then give you the run around.

The point of Hyperloop wasn't to actually work, it was to stop California from investing in Rail infrastructure. CA is like the number 1 market for Tesla cars so they wanted to maximise its potential. Everything involving Hyperloop was just busy work to make it seem genuine and presumably fun ways to move money around, plus the suckers who invested.
