pantene wtf? maybe he means pentene or pentane? i dunno, overall sounds like he doesn't understand what he's attempting to talk about. why would a hydrothermal power plant even have combustible gas? it just isn't necessary for the operation of that kind of facility. if a hydro plant is destroyed then a very large amount of superheated and pressurized water could cause a steam explosion, but that only really likely in an accident. no doubt this pant has already been shut down so it won't happen.

And I'm not a physicist or demolition expert, but I'm gonna argue that 50000 tons of petrol going up in a bang wouldn't have the same explosive yield of 'a small atomic bomb'.
