It's still survival, we don't have everything figured out & people do some fucked up stuff to/with their own family when they should be protecting eachother. - I've heard things from people that would make your skin crawl. (Parents shooting up/smoking meth with their kids, molestation, homeless at a young age). It's sad.
There's an evil that perpetuates, I'm pretty sure our ancestors spoke about it quite a bit.
