That his views have shifted along with the mainstream alt-media masses is not an indication that he's not a grifter, it re-enforces the idea that he is. I see him more as an agreeable marketing guy. An empty suit with no strong views that seem to come through.

Mainstream alt-media masses? Our ability to describe segments of society in a useful manner is almost gone. I guess he's a grifter to those whose orientation is towards the victory of one absolute position over another absolute position, regardless of the nuance of "truth" - points of common ground are not perceived as opportunities by those who exist in that headspace because the goal isn't to resolve a general problem - the goal is to defeat the enemy.

Yeah US politics is hyper-partisan. It's a zero-sum mentality that's pretty dysfunctional & it permeates pop culture.
I see all YouTubers who ride on hype waves like atheism & anti-SJW as grifters. It was painful to see some of them chime in about the recent US-Iran flare up. They really just talk out their ass for a living. Sounding convincing is the only thing they know.
