I haven't watched an episode of this show, but a lot of people here seem to recommend it.

i, for one, HAVE watched Daredevil...and yeah, it is definitely engaging... (spoiler alert though, he doesnt get the costume till the last ep of the 1st season...just so u dont spend your whole time wondering 'wtf is he gonna get the costume?!?!?) ...but that also brings me to wonder...how the hell did he lose it? :/ ive watched Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and a few Defenders & Iron Fist, but the last 2 i just couldnt bear....so did i miss something?

I've watched the first 2 seasons.
It has its ups and its downs. The main bad guy (Mr. Fisk) is outstanding. It was mostly an interesting watch.
The biggest problem that I've found is that although the choreographed fight scenes are well made and look cool at the beginning, they eventually get old. In season 2 there will be a point where you want to fast forward through the fight scenes to see what happens in the court scenes which by then are far more interesting.

A good villain is key - I also wondered if as the series progressed the court scenes would become more interesting than the fighting.
