NZ lockdown is being rolled back to Level 3 in 6 days. Yesterday we had 9 new cases. Today there were 5. Active cases are dropping & now around 440 total, down from almost 1,000 2 weeks ago. How are things looking in California?

@monkeymania - that's yet to be determined. There's a good chance it came from a fruit bat in Yunnan province but it was 14 years before the SARS virus was traced back to thr fruit bat that came from. The simple answer is it came from nature, just like H1N1 "Swine Flu", the "Spanish Flu", Lyme Disease, polio etc. The political answer is it came from country X. Take your pick.

People are taking the PPE thing more serious which is good to see.

Good. People here are getting more laxed, just from the few visits to the shops that I've noticed. Most it got up to was around 25% of people wearing PPE. I don't think anything can get things back to a real 'normal' until a proper trace & isolate policy is rolled out, or a vaccine comes along.
