Yup, saw this shit coming months ago! I spent about $400 on seeds, from peanuts to wheat and everything in between. Got a green house, A hydroponic system, 10 apple trees, 18 blueberry bushes, 4 kinds of grapes, raspberries, blackberries. I got about a years worth of food stocked up now, Ive been canning just about everyday for 2.5 months now. Got a crossbow for hunting deer, fishing gear, rabbits and chickens. I got a mill for flour, press for cheese and wine, processor for tomato sauce. I've been making kombucha and apple cider vinegar and fermenting veggies. Got a dehydrator for veggies and making jerky. Got a camera system now and flood lights around the house. I even got 4 rain barrels for water and filters and a generator. Basically became a doomsday prepper overnight! Got a hazmat suit, gas mask and even iodine pills in case of WW3.

You win the Spiked Pandemic Response Award. Wish I still had chickens. They're awesome pets if you get the right variety. I really like how they're not afraid of anything & will peck your feet or take on neighbourhood cats. Costs a bit to feed them if you live in the suburbs though.

Dude, I've been poor(most my life) and homeless, like sleeping under bridges and shit, going to churches to get sandwiches, I know what its like to go hungry. You cant think right, you get angry at weird shit and all you think about is food. At Standing Rock I ate a can of soup a day along with soylent meals in a bottle becuase it was so hard to cook in -40 degree weather in a fucking fishing tent in North Dakota. I've been camping on months long trips and traveled in my truck for months at a time. Now I got a kid and a suburban minded girlfriend, she's a elementary school libraian so she has school all day for our kid while I work on getting prepped, she'd be making pb and j's everyday all day if it wasnt for me. Im in my element and in the zone!
