Yeah they're assholes for smearing Assange but just to be contrarian......

Trump's effectively hunting down someone who published material that exposed war crimes & this guy's complaining about rhetoric coming from the other team.

This case, should it be tried in the US, could have scary implications for journalists all over the world.

Tucker's keeping afloat the "Russian meddling" narrative, it didn't happen. How can Wikileaks have colluded with people who had nothing to do with anything?

He's also throwing Manning under the bus. No Americans were hurt by that release. Some foreigners may have been but it helped prevent future war crimes.

4/5 for keeping it realish

sure i don't mean to say i agree with him on all the issues, but he's right about assange and how the corrupt are smearing him to cover their own asses, and he's identified the general trend of shutting down anyone who says anything contrary to what they want people to think.

yeah I can't even bring myself to look at what the corporate media is saying. Some examples of the smears are popping up on my Twitter tho. Journalists can be the bravest & the most spineless people in the world. Nothing beats the Australian Ministry of Foreign Affairs when it comes to spineless though. How can they not even try to get him out of there? They had that refugee soccer player out of a Thai prison within a few weeks recently but did nothing for Assange in all these years. Bloody disgraceful.
