Well, case in point. Eon is a Greek word. No Germanic (English) root there. Of particular significance in biblical texts, it can be used to denote epochs...shit. More Greek. Sorry. How embarrassing.

Why would it? The scientific limitation only comes into play when the believers try to stop further research by saying "here is the proof for an intelligent design, let's leave it at that"
Also scientists are not "in it" to disprove (a) god(s). Believers are in it to try and prove they are correct but as yet failed to provide any such proof.
What the presenter does is just massaging the believers' egos.

Everything you wrote above is a perversion of reality. Subject first and foremost to your deliberate, I think, misunderstanding which once again you present as fact.
..hehehe... lamprey. He called you a lamprey.

yeah tell Galileo that......
Regarding the lemprey:
I don't care what religious nutcases like the presenter or you call me.
You clearly think this is pejorative or insulting or otherwise hurtful to me and as always in these cases you seem to thrive on that. How very "christian" of you! Now if, against all odds, you would be judged by "your personal god" following the inevitable, the "heaven button" on your final elevator would be disabled for you. Now go and thank your god that he/she/it doesn't exist.
