voyager used to be my favorite, but rewatching i realized it doesn't have any depth. most episodes they just meet a people then move on, and the ones where they did have some continuation the reasons were all so convuluted it was ridiculous, the cardassian woman showing up much later despite being stuck with slower ships for example. deep space nine on the other hand i ended up developing a lot of appreciation for. it was so much better written, with character development ight across the board, different areas around the region all going through their own real time events off camera, and tons of side arcs that all affected the main story and each other. the whole series was much more together.
