Charles Manson Dead at 83

Murderers don't fascinate me as much as cults do. I've got a friend who is basically getting disowned by her family because she doesn't believe in Jehova enough. It's really fucked up and sad. Tarantino's next movie is going to be about this fellow and I'm looking forward to it for sure. Anyways, rot in hell ya godamn sonofabitch.

I used to be in that crazy cult and know all about that stupid shit. I feel bad for her.

Yeah brainwashing from an early age really is effective. Glad you made it out. Hope she does too

Thank you. As long as she knows its BS she will be fine eventually and even get used to being without her family while they drink the Kool-Aid.

Doesn't really feel like justice. Hangings for guys like this seems like a more worthy outcome. How many millions in tax dollars went towards keeping him locked up?

The death penalty process costs about 20 million. I don't really see the justice there. It's just lights out. Some even want to die so your basically doing them a service.

Put him in a cell without human contact for the rest of his life and he will be facing his inner demons for a long time. Much worse than death.

It's true that life in prison is much more painful , but 20 millions to inject someone with poison?

I think the high price is due to the legal appeals procedure, which you can't really do without if you want to make sure you don't kill the wrong guy by accident. Of course that still happens in a very small proportion of cases which I think is why the death penalty was abolished in the UK.

As some of you may remember, I worked in the Nut House (or Neuro/Psyche/Head Injury Rehab) for many years (hence my moniker).

I was once sent home from work for my attire (early 90's).

I was wearing a green Life magazine cover Charles Manson T-shirt, a pair of converse Xtra high tops adorned with bullet wounds, a circle/slash swastika, the word WAR, & Fuck Jesus & Insurrection down the back, & army green canvas shorts with long johns underneath.

I was sent home because my underwear (long johns) were showing.

Haha Fuckin' A man!

Also, Manson only killed 1 person, Bernard Crowe. He's not a mass murderer or a serial killer, despite what the media constantly parrot. He was an insane cult leader trying to start a 'race war'. What a Maroon.
