Bay Smoked Sockeye Salmon

Bay Smoked Sockeye and Garden Vegetables

We trimmed our bay tree so I thought I'd see how bay branches & leaves work for a quick smoke of some sockeye salmon. Turned out pretty good. I'm curious how it would be if I used a slow smoker. I also cooked up some scarlet runner beans from the garden.

A few months ago I hear something at the front door. I saw a couple pizzas on the porch. I saw the delivery guy in the driveway & politely let him know we hadn't ordered pizza. He got all snarky at me about it. There I was doing him a favor, and he snarks. A couple days later there were a couple pizzas sitting on the hood of one of the cars in the open garage, along with a couple cans of Coke (I haven't had a Coke since 1983). The pizzas weren't too bad...

I know you knocked the plate on the floor when you closed the lid of the BBQ .

Different fish in final shot .. I went frame by frame .

Looks very delicious non the less .

The lid of the barbecue did hit the plate (I edited that), but it didn't damage the plate or knock it over: )
