"seriously everyone take it, if we reach 80-90% vaccination level it will be over" to
"It is 80% effective" to
"It will prevent serious ilness and death"

It's got so idiotic here with understaffed nurses that they are taking quarantined nurses back to work as long as they are vaccinated (yet can clearly infect people) and healthy but unvacinated cannot work.

Had covid. I'm fine. Most of our close family had it a few weeks back, some vaccinated, some not.
Only one got a bit more serious case as he got myocarditis now and he was vaccinated.

I was told that after contracting covid I'm safe for atleast 6 months and shouldn't take the vaccine for atleast for 3-4 months. Well, at last, I'm following the rules now, which you so desperately want me to do.
So far each variant has been more resistant to the vaccine. Doubt we will ever know if it's due to the leakiness or just natural evolution.

Vaccination is a huge part of this. We don't know whether this can be eradicated at all actually, like the flu or parvo it may remain with us, however, if not enough people get vaccinated we probably will never know.
I personally don't know anyone who has had more than a day'r worth of minor side effects due to vaccination but I know a lot of people suffering "long covid" (not statistically relevant).
