Both you and dan have been getting quite rowdy of late and dan decided he had enough then told me what he did. Now, i’m not taking sides nor reading all of this verbose fuckery in the comments section. Dan’s videos provoke heated discussion and he deletes stuff. You’re making personal attacks in the comment section and posting videos with titles of the same nature. Tell me, what is a Nakey to do?
Simply put, ya kicked the hornets nest mate and got shit banned. I told him i’d give you two weeks then reinstate your account. Feel free to make another account to comment and post videos but by Poseidons barnacled left nut if you fuck around with it i roll 3 dice and whatever comes up is months ban on your primary account. Hell i’ll even make a video of it just to prove i did it.
What did dan get? He’s not allowed to post anything china for the next two weeks or get into anymore arguments for that time. He’s the site super admin, in reality he can do as he pleases, even ban me.

so to start. for a man thats not suppose to talk china for 2 weeks, he made it 2 hours and 10 minutes.
you got an admin that was brought in to make updates thats banning people and deleting stuff while telling the rest of the users they can vote to hide his comments. and the vote were going to have is no china for a month? the vote that needs to happen is if someone stays an admin. and a vote from active users rather than shadows

this isn't my site, i'm just trying to keep it going. when everyone else fucked off and the ball was dropped i picked up the pieces the best way i could. i made sure critikal (former super admin) handed over the site to someone that could do the job of maintaining it. hell i haven't spoken to flynn in well over a year now and when i did it was terse. i got spiked sorted without him and had i not i don't think anyone else would have. as a matter of fact it's dan that pays for the server. so this my friends is what you've got and i'm not applogizing for it.
i told dan if he keeps posting provocative videos and engages in heated arguments shit like this will happen and it will more than likely get worse. you guys want to aggravate the man not only can't i protect you, i simply won't. all i can do is reason with both parties, i know i can't please everyone. but i do know i can go change the fan belt on my ute and please my alternator so i'ma going to go do that.

First and foremost. I would like to thank Nakey and Dan for maintaining and financing the site. I didn't know until I read this that it was all on you guys.
My questions are.
What is the due process we provide here before an authoritive stance is taken?
How do we reconcile our no nonsense arguementative natures and occasional flaming with free speech?
Why we punish one who flames in scathing jest, yet let others (Not many, but at least one.) blatantly call each other racial slurs?
Where do we draw the line?
If our community was larger I would suggest an elected house of representatives, but we need more souls.

My 2c as a SN user:
Small admin team is best (I've seen discord servers fall apart from political in-fighting, it sucks). If major decisions about the direction of the site come up we can vote on them like we usually do. Simplicity is the way to go.
General fuckery & flare-ups are fine but people should try not to get too crazy with it & carry it on for eternity. When it becomes ceaseless, unprovoked personal attacks a line should be drawn somewhere. Case-by-case seems to work because there's so few issues on here.
You can email mods [at] spikednation.com if you have a complaint or whatever. It'll go to Nakey who is the moderator & site manager. He has the final say on stuff here.
