I've got a way to stop this from happening again. When people who look like that buy groceries or go to a restaurant, just refuse to serve them. They will have to chase down their food or eat the actual stuff that grows from the ground, which will require an effort beyond pouring bacon grease on it. Then, when they look good, they won't be shamed, but pointed out naturally and showered with organic lotion and icing.
