well clearly it was too much government regulation and oversight that forced boeing to make a crappy plane which was bound to crash.

Maybe one AoA sensor isn't really a problem if you're not using MCAS.  As far as I know, AoA isn't flight critical info in most situation, that is until they added the MCAS.

Yeah without MCAS you could just use a weight on a string if you had to! 

I'm a design engineer, this makes me feel sick, the thought of people dying on my watch eats away at my soul 24/7. I cant believe they handed this over without multiple redundancy and a fail safe. How much more could that possibly have cost?!
