it seems to be that they want people of differing backgrounds that all think the same. diversity of opinion is the seed of all ideas, and every single idea ever has come from outside the consensus.
also if you can't grasp the concept that a generalization doesn't lump all people into the same box (ie "people in general" ≠ "all people"), you aren't as diverse or broad minded as you think you are.
also just a site fyi / bug report (not a complaint, i can deal with it it's just something i noticed), i can't get the recent vids to load when i first enter the site, even though "recent" is bold like they are selected, i have to click on it every time. it's the same when going from a vid back to what should be the recent videos, i have to click "recent" again to display them.

You are the third to report this - I think the only way to get it dealth with is to email the mods directly. I've already emailed some bug reports so someone else do it.

Yes, email the bugs directly or go to the "how do you like the site" thread. I always put my stuff there and it gets answered unlike questions you ask certain cowards on here.......

I don't know what you guys think I do but I don't and can't monitor every single post on the off chance that someone complains about a bug. I only clicked on this one to see what the discussion was like. That's why there are specific posts and an email address for you to contact us on.
Regarding the bug - I can't see it on my computers (all three of them) and my phone.
Could you log out and press ctrl and F5 (this will clear the browser cache and refresh the site) and let me know if that clears it up? Thanks.

didn't want to trouble you with it really, hence why i put it in a comment in the chance someone else knew what i needed to do. it's only mildly inconvenient, and as is said it was not a complaint.
i'd already tried clearing cache but i tried it again as you said and same thing, can't get it to stay on "recent". it's not a big problem so no need to worry about it really.

Oooh, sorry I misunderstood what you meant. Thought you meant the site is stuck on "recent", not that you're refreshing the page and it's not staying on recent.
This is expected behaviour. I can't make it work like you describe it quickly without using cookies and that runs into a small legal requirement which I'm trying to avoid.
