Like nurses, doctors, firefighters and even soldiers, police should actually bring quite some empathy for fellow humans (irrespective of race, whether you like it or not) to the job so salary for them should be secondary and for most of them, at least in the developed world, it is.
In the US it appears that too many are simply too incompetent to do anything so they become a cop.
There appears to be no selection or monitoring process for mental and physical competency whatsoever (this is probably why you decided any man can do the job but no woman can), hence fat people like you and retards like "him" can become officers, no problem.
