The 14th Dalai Lama was financially supported by the CIA between the late 1950s and the mid 1970s, receiving 180,000 dollars per annum. The funds were paid to him personally, although he used most of them for Tibetan government-in-exile activities such as funding foreign offices to lobby for international support.
This is a very "wikipedia" version of the truth. No foreign offices were setup. The money was paid from the CIA to the Dalai Lama and there's no record of how it was spent.
The fact that his brothers had such extensive contact with the CIA in order to support their separatist movement & he was the leader of the network should really put it beyond doubt. He preaches non-violence while his brother is in Colorado helping the CIA train his loyalists as guerilla fighters? Come on you guys ;p

What proof is there that the dalai lama specifically apprpriated those funds for malicious purposes.
