Most whites in South Africa are nazis or similar so I don't really give a flying fuck how South Africa keeps screws up itself. Long history of that there.
Plus, there are no camps for whites nor active plans to kill all the whites so fuck that 'newssource'. OANN should be genocided.

It's not like white people in South Africa changing their perspective and letting the government know had anything to do with ending the apartheid. It was all only possible by means of force from outside intervention and a violent uprising, which brought good into the world.
Genocide doesn't require a camp or active plan to kill all people of a specific group. The war in the Middle East has killed millions of muslims. That is still a genocide by definition. There haven't been any active plans to kill all muslims. The death of civilians are the consequences of war.
Asking for another group of people to be genocided for an opinion you misrepresent haven't helped any situation ever.

Genocide is a specific act from a government, social group or individual. What you're describing is collateral damage. I'd very much like it that collateral damage of the type caused by most modern armies was counted as atleast 'genocide-lite'. But it won't be because empires cannot grow without invading other peoples lands.
So you got the point that those comments weren't to be taken seriously? Maybe?
On a serious note; I have extended family living in South Africa. Has been living there for more than 40 years. Third generation started a few years back. There's no white genocide there. What they do have is a representative system that is about as corrupt as any western system and they have a recent history of oppression. They need to deal with that or it'll lead to more violence soon(in the next 10-20 years).

Yet the organisation was not prepared to provide the sources or methodology it used to determine the country’s ranking. Neither would it pinpoint the events in South Africa that met the detailed description of that stage, which includes “extremist terrorism [targeting] moderates”.
Without this information, it is impossible to interrogate their ranking. Experts have also suggested that the organisation’s genocide framework could do more harm than good in combating violence in the country.
