Just kidding. Trump said well over a dozen times he would release his tax returns "After the audit I am under is done" which was his standard excuse for not releasing them. It was just another of the well over 2,500 lies Trump has told.
It seems right to have Trump's lies about releasing his tax returns grouped on beautiful, fantastic, wonderful tax deadline day. The hilarious part is that while he was lying about releasing his tax returns, he would brag about how little he paid to the IRS.
Now his response to questions about his tax returns is that "Nobody wants to see my tax returns" while people DO want to see them. A pathological liar president makes for a surreal government.

While you are correct, Trump is one of the only Presidential candidates and Presidents to not release their tax returns since the year 1979. Gerald Ford did not release his.
Yeah, he doesn't NEED to. But, boy oh boy, when the President has multiple accusations against him of collusion with foreign governments while he claims to be a billionaire, it sure does smell like 592 pounds of dead fish when he refuses to release them. So when I say, "what's he hiding?" I'm not really asking a controversial or pointed question....he is legitimately wanting to hide something.
