Comedian Steve Brown was performing at the Comedy House in Columbia, South Carolina on Sunday when a man jumped on stage and assaulted him, FOX 5 has learned.
FOX 5 was told the attacker was in the front row before he jumped on the stage and attacked Brown with a mic stand and stool.
The Richland County Sheriff’s Department responded to the comedy club and has since opened an investigation, according to TMZ.
Say whatever you want but Steve Brown making the guy miss with a mic stand that many times is impressive. That guy could have killed him. Security was right on top of it...
