Peter Navarro, Donald Trump's Trade Advisor and Defense Production Act Policy Coordinator, was asked on 60 Minutes about the lack of preparation by the Trump administration for a pandemic. Navarro responded with "I challenge you, show me the 60 Minutes episode a year ago, two years ago or during the Obama administration or the Bush administration that said 'Hey, a pandemic is coming you gotta do X,Y, and Z and by the way we would shut down the whole global economy to fight it. Show me that episode. Then you'll have some credence in terms of attacking the Trump administration for not being prepared." After responding with "I guarantee we did", 60 Minutes then showed multiple reports which did exactly that.
It's as if Navarro is unfamiliar with that crazy Google search tool. FOX "News" has been bizarre. They are playing up Trump as the hero of the pandemic and simply re-write history by eliminating his inaction in February by simply not mentioning it.
Fauci and Navarro together on stage together would be great.
