When you think of how much of that nation is militarized, even just destroying their entire military means killing millions. Even if they launch a nuke, every effort should be made to neutralize the ICBM and only decapitate the regime. I sometimes wonder if there's a strategy here to push NK to the point of either popping off early so that the nuclear threat can be contained while the regime is neutralized or implodes under the weight of enormous pressure. If NK nukes a city somewhere, China will watch the entire nation burn and do nothing but take in survivors I'm thinking.
