Misquoting, misreporting, and misremembering make having any covid disucussion such a chore these days. People bring up their data from 2020, or figures for both genders combined when the discussion is about males, conflating the risk of A with the risk of B when they're independent, etc. All kinds of stuff that's ball park related but still incorrect for the specific issue being discussed.
Here her number of around 100,000 children admitted to hospital with covid is correct, but that's since the beginning of the pandemic and includes all covid-positive cases including children who were admitted for non-covid reasons.
