I forgot to add a little tip from one of the comments: Those diamond tipped hole saws are NOT directional. So if you set your drill to anti clockwise (undo) the hole saw will still function exactly the same, but often it will catch on the screw and the screw will actually unscrew itself before you've drilled deep enough to need a dowel.
