One of this guy's main arguments is that CGI objects have lost the sense of weight that real objects do when using practical effects. I agree with this, but I'd also add that they also lack the texture (too many smooth, rubbery surfaces) and natural lighting (everything is glossy) you get when using practical effects. I really wish we'd go back to the days of using mainly practical effects with CGI being more of a supplemental tool.
