wow that's really interesting. my guess is that near passes to strong gravitational sources have stretched it over its lifetime, not much unlike how the comet schumaker-levy was broken up by near passes with jupiter. it must then be seriously old, and have travelled an extremely long way. pity we can't capture it for study.

That film goes from 0 to fuck in very little time. They should do a sequel where they just keep developing more drives and actually invade the other dimension. Kinda like the last Doom game.
