YES! I hope it is done well. I remember when it first came out and I watched it with my brother when I was around 7 yrs old. Scared the shit out of me for years. Mostly just the creepy sister with the back all fucked up and the son that burned with his father.

if it gets people to talk about how the original was better, many more will seek out the original...that movie made me never wanna have kids (because of the sadness of the truck scene) ...now i have 3, BUT i never let them go anywhere near the road.
