i used to watch clips of this guy, but then you look into it and find nothing ever happens to anyone he "destroys". not prosecuted for anything illegal they did, not even fined.

That's the explicit reason he states he's leaving congress.

really? how will that help?

would make more sense to use his position to ensure they get powers to order investigations.

It won't help at all - he's basically stated that congress is corrupt to the point where the rule of law is impossible to enforce.

This should be historic, Earth-shattering shit that shines a light on the corruption in our judicial system, but like with Hillary, I'm pretty positive these people will walk. Nothing will come of this. It's just a show for the average joe to jerk off to and get some kind of vicarious thrill out of before it's brushed under the rug and forgotten about.

yeah that's pretty much what i mean. i mean after it all came out months ago in a session very similar to this that the fbi deliberately covered for hillary, no new investigations was ordered, no-one prosecuted for that miscarriage of justice, nothing.

1. yes he was.

2. opinion is protected, taking or not taking actions because of your opinion is illegal when you are employed by the department of justice.

3. he didn't just share opinions, he took actions based on on them.

4. actually the investigation found very clear evidence of bias, both in the fbi and doj, so much so that congress has requested a special counsel to investigate.

5. no, the investigationg found overwhemling anti-trump bias.

The whole shitshow doesn't raise faith in the system of government we are using. I've been in heated debates with co-workers that were a lot more organized and structured than that rambling mess.

Destroys? Yeah. Wicked totally.
