Stanton Friedman and Richard Dolan are two very objective and evidence-based UFO researchers that have been producing solid work for decades. These guys have been studying the phenomenon from a historic and scientific perspective and both look upon the Tom Delonge "To the Stars Academy" disclosures and ex-CIA, military and government employees with a lot of skepticism.

Good for them for looking upon Tom DeLonge's claims with skepticism. It takes a strong, rational mind to hear blantant bullshit and lies and then somehow find the strength to respond to them with skepticism.

Hey Mr. Mockery - I know I will always be able to count on you to take no position until someone currently employed by the government tells you it's okay to do so. Although everyone involved quit their gov. and corporate jobs like yesterday, the Tom Delonge thing is basically that, and it's no surprise that coming from the government it's a little bit of truth mixed with "blatant" bullshit and lies.
But hey, since you've studied this, what are the blatant bullshit and lies in the Pentagon disclosure managed out by "To the Stars" - do you even know what they are?

K well the short of it is that the F-18 gun camera vids are legit, and the pilot's testimony is legit, but all of the meta-data surrounding the released video is false. What effect has this had? It means when folks submit FOIA requests for the chain of documentation they are told "We don't know what you're talking about" because to get the info you have to accurately state the location and date of the military encounter (which has been fudged). So now there are people submitting FOIA requests based on deductions of the actual likely incident date and location and crossing their fingers that they will get something.
What it looks like is the dude released the vid without actualy divulging the classified aspects of the encounter (where it occured, why it occured, when it occured, etc.). The pilot has also told a very scripted story that has the same effect.

Both interviews were conducted before Tom Delonge came on the scene - the point was to introduce UFO prudes like you to a couple of guys who are very level-headed in their research, even if you think they've been wasting their minds on a fruitless task. So all I'm really trying to say here is, if you feel like getting into Ufology, start with these guys not Tom Delonge.
