Wow, this is fascinating.  I had to go and check other sources to make sure it was true.

I saw them in 1988 at the 10th annual Texas Jam. It was their 1st show since 1979 (9 years!)

 From The Dallas Morning News:

" More than 75,000 people, paying $22 each, packed into a sold-out Cotton Bowl to hear the hard-rock bands Farrenheit, Telsa, Whitesnake, Poison and Aerosmith. Headlining the bill was Boston, giving its first show since 1979."

Brad Delp was beside himself, he was so excited! They were amazing!

I still can't believe that a man seemingly so happy & full of life could kill himself. He was about to get married. & the way he did it... He really thought that shit out!

He went  into the bathroom, hung up plastic sheeting, duct taped everything and sealed all the doors and windows... Then he lit 4 or 5 Hibachi grills... Died of carbon monoxide poisoning...
