about 500k, daily cases reached nearly 30k for the past week, mostly in Shanghai
today it dropped below 20k in Shanghai though, they seem to be getting on top of it but spreading is still happening in Pudong (a huge built-up area in the middle of Shanghai that includes the CBD)
