I don't know where this is going (21 minutes in to the movie) but the returning soldier is behaving exactly as my older half brother behaves. It's a whole different reality - he's been there, done that, and the toughest assholes take one look at him and KNOW "Not him - not that one."
The bully kids in that first bar scene - too young to know. Ignorance can be painful.
Further in now - OMG I won't spoil anything but wow.
