I have been in real action, and vision does not blur when shooting something from close range, or when you get hit, still cool though.

The blur emulates suppression - it kicks in when bullets/shells hit close to you. It doesn't affect your aim so experienced players can still be effective while the noobs will usually duck for cover & stop shooting. When you get hit your vision kind of throbs between black screen & muddy vision (see 3:10), eventually going black & white with barely any vision, then you're wounded & can't move until a medic stabs you with an epipen & heals you up.

But i have been shot many times, sometimes not even knowing i got shot till after the fight, and air supression? never saw that either, although it could be since i was only shot with pistols and low caliber revolvers, i have seen a few tanks explode right next to me and one when i was ontop of the hatch and that did gave some visible air compression but nothing disorienting like in this game, and that was an exploding tank that i stood ontop of, same with motion blur in racing games, drove a Indy car around a track full throttle ened 3 seconds under the track record never experienced any blur on the sides, i mean things flash by fast but no blur or tunnel vision, sometimes they make these things look more exaggerated then it realy is

I guess emulate isn't the right word. It just makes you take cover, like you would if you were being shot at because things are more dangerous. For some people it could be disorienting to have bullets land near them so blurry vision kinda makes sense. It's quite annoying, especially when you're not used to it. It's also tactical, you have 1 or 2 guys suppress the enemy while your squad mates move into position, often to hurl a grenade.

I've had tunnel vision on a bike going ~180kmph. It doesn't seem to happen in a car, even going much faster. I think maybe because on a bike you see more of everything. It's slightly disorienting, gives an extra sense of "don't fuck up".

I get what you mean, its a warning in the game, still think they should have used sound instead like keep everything at a low sound besides bullets and explosions nearby, and yeah bikes are scary shit you sort of start dreaming when going fast. very dangerous. its the vibration in the handlebars and the monotone sound putting you in hypnotic state, combined with adrenaline and a bit endorfine gives you a nice dreamy high going down the highway, very dangerous
